All utility DLRP programs require all sites to participate in one audit per year in order to test program participation. DLRP is offered by Orange and Rockland (ORU), PSEG Long Island and Con Edison (Con Ed). Audit performance may set your summer payments should your utility not call another Distribution Load Relief Program (DLRP) dispatch all summer.
Audit details are outlined below. If you have additional questions, please contact Enel Support via one of the following channels:

Audit Scheduling
Utilities call the two-hour audit at their discretion and may do so during any of the calendar months during the summer peak demand period. The utility will provide Enel with two-hour advance notice before the beginning of the audit. Enel will then pass that notice on to you.
Audit Details and Preparation
Your site will be required to curtail for a specific two-hour period determined by your utility. If your site is enrolled in other DR programs—New York’s SCR program, for example—you may be dispatched for two or more programs at once. If you receive multiple dispatch notices, you must respond during all requested hours.
To prepare for audits and dispatches, please review the Dispatch Notifications Guide. Prior to the audit, review your energy reduction plan (ERP) and verify your site’s contact info in the Enel application. Please contact Enel Support with any questions you may have.
Payment Impact
Performance is measured by the difference between your baseline and raw curtailment. Utility DLRP calculates a “high 5 out of 10” average customer baseline, which is based on the average of the highest usage in each potential dispatch hour in the highest five out of ten days (excluding holidays and CSRP/SCR dispatches).
Capacity payments are based on the average delivered kW during an event. If your site is unable to participate for the entirety of the audit, please perform when you are able to maximize your potential payment. Underperformance in a dispatch will decrease your capacity payment and may affect your site’s future enrollment level.
Performance Monitoring
During the audit, your energy usage may be above or below your baseline—performance will be determined by the comparison of your dispatch average usage against your baseline. For information regarding your enrollment and baseline targets, please refer to your enrollment email.
Underperformance in an official dispatch or audit will negatively impact your payments until you are dispatched again. If no mandatory event is called this summer, your audit performance will set your summer payments.
