In order to successfully reach your site during a dispatch, at least (3) contacts are required. These contacts will receive dispatch notifications via the contact methods you specify. You can also subscribe contacts to additional communications.
1. Log in to Enel X Flex at https://apps.enelx.com. From the top-right menu, select Onboarding Portal. You can also access it directly at https://onboarding.apps.enelx.com/.
2. Here you will see a list of your sites and onboarding tasks. Filter by status to show sites with To Do, In Progress, or Completed tasks. Then, select an available site to complete it's tasks.
3. Select the Create Contacts task in the left pane. To create a new contact from scratch, click Complete Task to be redirected to User Admin, where you can add a new user. Any existing site contacts will appear in the list, and you can update them by selecting the edit icon.
Identification
To create a new user, click the Create User button located at the bottom of the User List on the left side of the dashboard. Each section must be completed before the next becomes accessible.
In the Identification section, enter the required user data:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address: this will also be used as the login identifier
- Username: must be unique; cannot be changed after user creation
After entering the required fields, select the Save button. Click the Next Section button to proceed to the User Roles section.
User Roles
This section allows you to assign one or more roles to the new user. The Entity Tree Panel shows the list of organizations or sites the user can be assigned to. Use the checkboxes to select an () organization or (
) individual sites. On the right side, select available roles and click Add Roles. A summary view appears at the bottom of the Active User Roles tab listing all selected roles and their scopes with the option to delete. Once roles are assigned, click Save. Select > Next Section to continue to Contact Information.
Contact Information
This section allows you to enter optional and notification-related contact fields:
- Phone Number
- Mobile Number
- 24/7 Contact
- Primary Contact
After completing the contact fields, scroll down to access the Subscriptions grid within the same tab. This section allows you to define which types of notifications the user should receive, and for which sites. The grid is structured by site and notification category. Each cell contains a checkbox that enables or disables that particular notification type for the selected site. Subscription checkboxes will only be enabled if the necessary contact method was entered above. More information on Managing Your Notification Subscriptions.
Use the search functionality at the top-left of the table to filter or search for sites the user has already been assigned a supported role. If no valid contact method is provided, the corresponding checkbox cannot be selected. Select Save and and if the Send Activation Email box is checked, the user will receive an email to activate their account. Select > Next Section to continue to User Settings.
User Settings
After entering contact information and subscriptions, proceed to the User Settings tab to define platform preferences for the new user. These fields control the interface language, system behavior, and landing page after login.
- Platform Locale: Sets the default language for the user interface. This value determines how menus, labels, and messages are displayed.
- Timezone: Defines the time zone used for time-stamped elements across the platform, such as dispatch schedules, logs, and event timing. Select the appropriate time zone based on the user's location.
- System of Measurement: Allows you to choose between Imperial (e.g., kW, °F) and Metric (e.g., kW, °C) units. This affects how energy and temperature values are displayed throughout the platform.
- Home Application: Sets the default application the user will land on after logging in.
